I bought a car that was recently imported to Norway, but when the importer took it to the DMV to have it registered it FAILED the technical inspection. The importer gave up on it and traded it for a registered one. I bought this sight unseen with the known issues: rust, parking brake, gas leak. The sills are a known problem on the F-150, a botched design that is exacerbated by lack of rustproof...

Hey man great video. I have a question. What size wrench did you use for the nuts on the brake lines? I have to change some brake lines on a family members car soon and want to make sure i get the correct size wrench
Extensive comprensive video. A shot in the dark, but do you happen to know the length of the flexible brake lines in the front of a 450, the ones going from body to caliper?
Ah, no... Probably just as well to log in to autodoc and get the proper ones?
@@bjornarhuse That's the problem. All the compatible spares range from 311mm to 345mm. Thanks for answering
do you have to do anything with the brake fluid? bleeding? thanks for showing how to make new brake lines.
Yes the rear lines will be full of air and the whole system needs bleeding. Something you should be doing every 4 years anyway...

Hei! Hva gjorde du for å fikse dette? Måtte du bytte hele motoren? Jeg har en B-klasse som har mye "motorlyd" fra vindusviskerne, høres ut som et lager i viskermotoren er i ferd med å ryke. Tror du det vil være mulig å bare bytte lager? Du har ikke tilfeldigvis de gamle delene liggende, slik at du kunne målt dimensjonen på lager i viskermotoren som det er mulig å skifte?
Hei, jeg prøvde å finne deler men det får man i alle fall ikke fra MB, så jeg endte med å kjøpe et nytt sett fra høgger og bytte hele suppedasen.

Hi, this was beyond repair, a new kit was installed complete. Have done the same on A, B and Fiat Doblo, none had parts available and a new set was bought either from a wrecking yard or new from Mercedes.
@@bjornarhuse I manage to change the motor rotor bearings and brushes from similar MB motor. Just to swap A motor to B motor is not working wery well even they identical there difference 4mm in the length of shoulder with attached to arms and wiper blades swing reduced, not ideal.

Do you not want the mash in the 65 deg or there about? You need to have the HLT water up between 72-76 deg mark before you transfer to the mash tun section. Love the setup!!!
Hi, you are of course right, the temp difference should be at least 10C. During the first brew with the heater loop the temp in the mash still went down, probably becuase of too little heat radiated from the fairly short loop inside the mash tun. I am now working on turning the heat exchange opposite, circulating the mash through the pipe which is then suspended into the HLT tank. I hope this will transfer more heat to the mash tun, as there will be more movement in the liquid. Will see in a couple of weeks when I do the next batch!
